SPAZIO Management is a product for managing SPAZIO MFT/S infrastructures. SPAZIO Management architecture is based on (SNMP) Agents and on manager components integrated in the major (SNMP) management platforms, such as IBM Tivoli NetView, HP OpenView NNM, CA TNG Unicenter, as well as into other management products such as BMC Patrol, IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC) and IBM Tivoli Business System Manager (TBSM).

• SPAZIO Management Agent version 2.6 provides the following new features:
  • thresholds on not-acquired objects can now be set both globally and for each specific queue
  • an "heartbeat" trap is sent by the Agents to notify the Manager that they are alive
  • a threshold can be defined on the size of the Queue and Object Sets (data and indexes) allocated by SPAZIO; a new specific trap can be sent by the Agent (z/OS only)
  • the Agents can be configured to save all alarms into a textual logfile; this mechanism can replace or be added to the standard notification mechanism using SNMP traps (mini only)
• SPAZIO Management Integration to Nagios version 1.0 provides an integration among SPAZIO SNMP Agents and Nagios. This integration makes SPAZIO SNMP traps available as Nagios alerts and shows SPAZIO components and their status in the Nagios interface
• SPAZIO Management Integration to Netview version 2.3 introduces discovery fy file capabilities
• SPAZIO Management Integration to TBSM version 1.1 introduces support for automatic polling of SPAZIO Management Agent, new LOB objects and reviewed list of operations.
