SPAZIO MFT/S is a comprehensive file transfer and management solution, able to cope with multiple heterogeneous platforms and communication protocols for a secure and efficient transfer.

SPAZIO MFT/S supports a wide range of HW/SW platforms, communication protocols (TCP, SNA), Internet protocols (HTTP(S), FTP(S), SMTP(S)), middleware (IBM WebSphere MQ) and OEM file transfers (Connect:Direct, NetView, XCOM, etc.). Working in conjunction with the complementary SPAZIO Orchestration Suite, it also provides Management capabilities on other transport types at Customer sites.

SPAZIO MFT/S is based on the de-coupling of systems involved in the exchange of files and is also available for direct connections. Its embedded Data Security and compression features allow for an efficient and secure transmission and make it particularly suitable for complex and heterogeneous environments.

Management, transformation and connection features can be added, making the product a truly comprehensive integration instrument.

New Features and Enhancements

  • File acquisition in atomic mode
A file acquired by means of FILETACQ will be visible on the file system only once the acquisition is completed. During the acquisition phase the file will not be visible.
  • Deletion of locally external files after the transport
Files routed as locally external, if requested, will be automatically deleted once the transfer is completed.
  • User-driven MailBox compaction
In the SPAZIO start-up phase, the user can request compaction of the MailBox, regardless of how the last system shutdown took place.
  • Enabling manual deletion for the slave transports in "failed" status
Slave transports in "failed" status can be deleted manually by the user.
  • Rescheduling manually disabled transports
Following manual disabling of a transport, the status displayed is H (Hold) and not longer P (Pending).
  • Enhancements to Static Agenda (SPAZIO application for the automated routing or acquisition of files to/from SPAZIO queues)

    • Dynamic generation of the CorrelationId for routed files: when a file is routed through Static Agenda, it is possible to assign a CorrelationId to the routed file that is generated dynamically on the basis of the effective name of the routed file (the full file name or a substring thereof possibly preceded and/or followed by fixed strings).
    • Possibility of compression: the Static Agenda now allows use of the compression service when it routes a file.
    • DSSP security integration: The Static Agenda now allows SPAZIO DSSP security to be used.
