The SPAZIO JMS API is a product created by Primeur, an IBM Premier Business Partner, which allows programmers to develop Java applications that perform SPAZIO file transfer via a JMS-based programming interface, with access to underlying SPAZIO technology.

SPAZIO JMS API is based on and extends the JMS (Java Message Services) 1.1 model. It can be used in an in-process (native) and out-of-process configuration (client/server based on TCP/IP). It also builds up a uniform interface which can be effectively used across multiple platforms (Windows, Unix, z/OS).

Already a stable and mature product, this latest release of SPAZIO JMS API enhances both the user experience and software performance.

• Extended platform currency: z/OS now supported
• Revised prerequisite product version currency with full support for SPAZIO MFT/S 2.3.0 (or higher) runtime and embedded SPAZIO RMI Server
• Administrators will benefit from the enhanced consumability of the product, mainly due to:
  • product documentation set completely rewritten and consolidated in a single complete manual, with sample gallery provided
  • improved first use experience through simplification of the installation process and packaging, reducing the time required for performing and verifying installation. SPAZIO JMS API now ships only pure Java components (all native code was moved to base SPAZIO MFT/S) and enhanced scripts. The installation verification procedure is also more effective
• Programmers will benefit from increased flexibility in writing applications for the conditional movement of files from one queue to another
• Users will enjoy enhanced performance, thanks to the support for RMI input and output Record Buffering, which greatly improves performance when dispatching and acquiring record files, especially when performing record based processing of big files containing many small records

SPAZIO JMS 3.4 is a pure Java implementation and has been certified to work with SPAZIO MFT/S 2.3.0.0 (or higher) on the following platforms:
