Data Security

The Data Secure product suite provides crucial, modern cryptographic services, for a variety of situations and on multiple platforms.

Data Secure is entirely based on modern crypto standards such as PKCS, S/MIME, PGP, PKI, X.509, thus guaranteeing maximum robustness and full interoperability.

Data Secure will allow you to transparently secure your File Transfer or your Messaging communications or embed the cryptographic services that you need in your applications.

Data Secure is available in 4 versions:

• Data Secure Toolkit (DSTK): embedding security function in your applications
• Data Secure for WebSphere MQ (DSMQ): securing MQ infrastructure
• Data Secure for SPAZIO (DSSP): securing SPAZIO infrastructure
• Data Secure FILESEC: command-line Data Secure operations

Data Secure has gained quite a market acceptance in the large Enterprises, not least because it allows cryptographic operations to be performed in heterogeneous enivornments. Currently supported platforms include: Win32, AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux, OpenVMS, Tandem NSK, z/OS.

SPAZIO DATA Security Product Line (eng | ita)

SPAZIO Data Secure Toolkit

API Toolkit for developing secure applications, including all the necessary PKI elements. It provides functions for cryptographic and certificate-related operations on S/MIME and PKCS#7 standard objects and for accessing the Certificate Database.
The Java version of SPAZIO DSTK product will now be certified as Sun Microsystems Java Cryptography Extension.

SPAZIO DATA Secure for WebSphere MQ

This product provides cryptographic protection for WMQ Servers. The protection is End to End and Link. Messages may be encrypted and/or digitally signed, thus providing privacy, proof of origin and data authentication. Compression is also provided.

Data Secure for SPAZIO (DSSP)

This module provides SPAZIO with Link security (encryption from node to node and Peer Entity Authentication between nodes connected by Spazio transport) and End to End security (transparent security for Router/Acquirer and SPAZIO API).

Data Secure for SPAZIO - Open Edition (DSSP Open)

This new module for SPAZIO provides security and interoperability with all the company's partners that communicate via FTP or HTTP where the connection takes place between a SPAZIO server on one side and an FTP or HTTP client on the other. In particular DSSP Open adds standard secure transfer protocols:

• Support for SSL3 / TLS Standard
• Support for Open PGP Standard

This is the command-line component of the Data Secure Suite, available by script or JCL, that allows pre-post process of files. It provides functions for cryptographic and certificate-related operations on S/MIME and PKCS#7 standard objects and for accessing the Certificate Database.
