IBM IMPACT 2010, May 2-7. How to achieve cost reductions, return on investments as well as SOA implementation in a conversion project to IBM WebSphere MQ and how to further extend the value of WebSphere MQ with Primeur's technology. These will be the main themes that Primeur - an Italian multinational company specializing in Managed File Transfer, Security and Governance Solutions - will be focusing on this year at IBM IMPACT 2010.

In today's global context, organizations increasingly use File Transfer as an effective solution for the integration and exchange of information internally and with customers, suppliers and partners. Companies often move files using free Internet protocols such as FTP (File Transfer Protocol) with software developed in-house or solutions available on the market. All these products often coexist within the same IT infrastructure, causing operational difficulties, lack of control over file movement, and exposing sensitive data to even more security risks.

This theme will be further discussed by Primeur at IBM IMPACT 2010 in a dedicated Birds of a Feather session titled "How Important is it to Define, Regulate, Audit, and Manage Your File Transfer System?" (Session: BOF-2964A), hosted by Ray Wilson, Primeur USA's Senior Architect. The session will take place on Wednesday May 5th May from 10:15 to 11:30am in the Venetian Marco Polo 703.

Further to the Governance theme, Primeur will be also presenting Spazio Ad Hoc, a new enterprise class product for the control and secure management of all the files sent via an e-mail client or an application.
