Primeur has developed Spazio FASTransfer, a component of its Spazio MFT/S Managed File Transfer suite, which reduces the impact of network latency on the transfer of large files. Spazio FASTransfer allows file transfers to be completed up to 7 times faster than normal FTP, and up to 10 times more reliably.
Characteristics of the solution compared to FTP
- Efficiency: it can use almost 100% of the network bandwidth assigned
- Throughput: up to 7 times faster on Wide Area Networks
- Reliability: up to 10 times more resistant to the loss of packets and as much as 40 times more tolerant of network latency
- Scalability: it adapts immediately and continuously to network conditions.
Spazio FASTransfer provides multiple interfaces for integrating existing applications with its own technology on many different operating systems and software development platforms.
