Primeur announces the opening of new offices in the USA

After recent the opening of its Sydney office, the leading company in Managed File Transfer continues to expand

Genoa, May 4, 2009. Primeur – a multinational company and one of the main providers of middleware solutions for distributed and heterogeneous computer systems – announces the opening of a new office in the United States and the appointment of Allan Somerville Brown as Director of Primeur North America. This announcement follows the expansion of Primeur in the United Kingdom, and the recent opening of a new subsidiary in the Asia Pacific region (Sydney, Australia) further demonstrating the global expansion strategy of an Italian leader in the market of Managed File Transfer, End-to-End Security and Data Movement Governance.

The North American office is based in Lexington, Virginia, and is headed up by Allan Somerville Brown who will be responsible for the development and growth of Primeur’s business in the United States and Canada, as well as strengthening strategic alliances with partners.

Before joining Primeur, Allan has been many years at IBM. Throughout his long career within the company, he was recently Brand Manager responsible for release to market of IBM’s WebSphere MQ and Message Broker Products, before taking the responsibility for driving the IBM WebSphere MQ business including enablement and support of the WebSphere sales team world-wide, development of sales tools and providing direction to Brand Management, Marketing and Development.
